It's IPSY Time....March Edition

Hello Gems!!! It's that time again!!! The latest Ipsy bag arrived in the mail last week. This month's theme is Destination Beauty. Alot of manufacturers are quickly gearing up for the spring/summer seasons. It's so exciting to see the launch of all the great new products.

Ipsy is doing something a little different this month. Starting with this month's bag, they're featuring a new artist's series. Each month they'll feature an artist with a different design for each bag.

This month's artist is Klari Reis. I'm a big fan of art so this was right up my alley. Such an a great design and great concept... Kudos IPSY!

So on to this month's goodies.....

First item I picked up was the Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter. The minute I smelled this product, I instantly thought....perfect for the beach. This would make a great moisturizer to use in your tropical or local beach getaway. I'm not a huge coconut fan so we'll see.

The next goodie included in this month's bag was the Nicole by OPI polish in On What Grounds. This color is from the Roughles (pronounced "Ruffles") collection. From the product description given, these colors go on like regular polish but dry to a speckled, textured finish. The collection has a total of 4 colors (all soft pastels).  You can check out the other colors in the collection at Nicole By OPI. Nicole By OPI polishes retail for $8-10 each.

I loved this polish at first site.  A perfect color just in time for spring.  The finish of this polish is so unique. That seems to be the ongoing trend for nail polishes (vibrant color with various finishes and designs). Looking forward to sporting this color soon.

Now this product really caught my eye.  The Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora is gorgeous. These vibrant colors will translate well on any skin tone.  The swatches below don't do this quad justice. Be Be a Bombshell released 3 other eyeshadow quads just like this (Risky Business, Rock Bottom and Starlet). The other quads are just as amazing.  To view those quads and other products, visit Be a Bombshell. Each quad retails for $16 each.

Rounding out the products in this month's bag is the bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready. I've tried a few of the lip glosses/lipsticks from the bareMinerals line.  They are very creamy, pigmented and moisturizing. Get Ready is apink neutral color that is great for every day wear. This color will look great on most skin tones.

Overall, I'm very happy with this month's bag.  I'll be digging into the Be a Bombshell quad very soon.  Stay tuned for product impressions.  Let me know what you received in your Ipsy bag.  Were you happy with the products?  Any standouts for you?  Share your comments below.

Until next time gems...happy shopping!!
